Telenor - Safe Internet Campaign

Safe Internet campaign is a long-term CR initiative of Telenor in cooperation with the Bulgarian Safer Internet Center. It aims to raise public awareness of children, parents and teachers on the main risks of using Internet and ways to overcoming them. In the period of February 2016 to February 2017, Telenor conducted four different initiatives reaching, educating and advising tens of thousands Bulgarian school kids on the topics of internet safety. The campaign included trainings of over 150 pupils as cyber scouts and ambassadors of the cause, face-to-face meetings with over 10,000 elementary and middle school children, releasing an online bullying handbook for all Internet users reaching over 38,000 visitors for a period of one year and an online quest which attracted over 24,000 users. All those initiatives and their main objectives were largely popularized and covered by Bulgarian media.
