UNITED BULGARIAN BANK

UN/NOTED part of UBB's Gold fund Collection

In September 2016 in Plovdiv Art Gallery, United Bulgarian Bank showcased for the first time to the general public its collection of artworks. The UN/NOTED exhibition of UBB’s Gold Fund featured 47 never exposed pieces by notable Bulgarian XX-century artists.
The idea behind UN/NOTED project - following its opening night in Plovdiv town where the exhibition was part of the Night of Museums and Galleries (NIGHT/Plovdiv) – was to have the paintings, owned by the Bank, reach all corners of Bulgaria through travelling expositions. Thus, 14 towns were selected for the purpose (Plovdiv, Montana, Pernik, Sofia, Ruse, Haskovo, Gabrovo, Veliko Tarnovo, Varna, Pleven, Burgas, Stara Zagora, Vidin and Blagoevgrad) and in each one of those the exhibition was officially opened with a special event.
After UN/NOTED’s incredible success in Plovdiv (over 20 000 visitors, including the guests of NIGHT/ Plovdiv), the second grand destination of UBB’s Gold Fund was Dvoretsa National Art Gallery - the former palace in Sofia downtown. The exhibition was officially opened on January 12, 2017 and stayed in the palace for a month.
The UN/NOTED project was promoted through: an active PR campaign involving press conferences for local and national media; a variety of activities coming to life through the official UBB profiles in the social networks – Facebook games, Facebook Events and Instragram posts; through online advertisements, as well as through the exclusive presentation website, ubbcollection.bg
