Huawei P9 - Reinvent smartphone photography

One of the most progressive technology brand in the world Huawei launched its flagship smartphone P9 in Bulgaria in April 2016. The much anticipated “hero” model set a new standard in the smartphone photography promoting mobile photography in a partnership with the legendary brand Leica. We had to position the new flagship product amongst the fierce competition of Samsung Galaxy S7 and Apple Iphone 6s and to present P9 as the latest modern smartphone developed specially to meet many different requirements and expectations by consumers.

The strategy of the campaign was based on long and consistent communication through different channels before, during and after the launch event in order to reach as many media and potential customers as possible. The project was developed in several stages in order to present the product and to build progressively its image of an attractive smartphone for consumers who like portrait mobile photography and value the good tech specifications.

We organized a spectacular launch event, presenting P9 with a personal touch, photo and product corners, interaction and entertainment. All guests had the opportunity to see as addition 2 impressive photo exhibitions during the event: FLASH by Lenny Kravitz and ASCENSION by Mathieu Bitton. The event received wide coverage in the social networks and media. The agency created an exclusive experience for all guests and demonstrate the reinvention of the smartphone photography in a unique manner.
