The Real Wolf of Wall Street in Bulgaria

In April 2015, the Real Wolf of Wall Street Jordan Belfort, who got famous worldwide after Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio’s movie, hosted a 1-day training in his Straight Line Persuasion System in Sofia, Bulgaria. The event was a part of his world tour for presenting his business expertise in selling and persuasion, and was the first of its kind in Bulgaria. Related PR was fully in charge of the planning and organization of the communication campaign to promote the training and of the organization of the event itself, as well as of hosting the visit of Mr. Belfort and his crew. To meet the challenges and create a strong demand among the target audience, we relied our strategic approach on the concepts of vanity and entertainment. The results from the campaign exceeded expectations. There were 800 people attending the training, while the initial target set by the client was 500. The campaign had 7 unpaid media partnerships, 9 sponsors and exhibitors at the event. Positive feedback was received from the client & Jordan Belfort’s team with following discussions for repeating the campaign and the event on other Balkans’ markets, from partners, attendants and sponsors, who defined the training in the business circles as “the event of 2015”. Related PR managed to land more than 250 media pieces in electronic, print and online media with national coverage.
